All For One and One For All: Swimsuit Edit

With reports of a heatwave on route to the UK and many of us already ecstatic that the holiday season is fast approaching, this calls for shopping! Swimwear shopping to be precise to get us ready to jet set to sandy shores. (let's be honest, even with the sun set to strike us, most of us would rather be in Marbella or South Beach, than Margate or Southend).

Having said that, not only do many opt to cover up for a more modest approach to holidaying, but I also note that everyone isn’t comfortable rocking a bikini especially if they missed the ‘hot girl summer’ memo to prepare in advance and flex in a two-piece poolside. But all hope isn’t lost for those that missed the boat because the swimsuit has upped the stakes with its offerings this season.

Here are 10 of our faves this season. Whatever your size, shape or budget, there’s something here for everyone.

A style that can double up as swimwear and daywear when teamed with a pair of cut-offs or a maxi skirt. This season is giving us scalloped edges and reversible variations! How's that for a revamp?

1. Melika reversible bow-detail swimsuit, £265, Araks. 2. Twisted-back swimsuit, £45, Cos. 3. Santa Barbara one-shoulder scalloped stretch-crepe swimsuit, £320.68, Marysia.

Buckle up

Opt for a belted swimsuit when you want to up the fashion stakes that bit more and give your waist a nice cinch. You may want to spend this swimwear moment on the deck as these are too cool for pool.

1. Wild Youth belted ruffled cutout swimsuit, £425, Johanna Ortiz. 2. V-neck swimsuit with a belt, £29.99, H&M. 3. Secret Slimming™ Belted Bandeau Swimsuit, £29.50, M&S. 4. Cindy, £135, Maiyo.
